Marc Zoschke Photography

My love of photography began early in life; however, I didn’t take it as a serious life altering endeavor until a couple of years ago. During my childhood years, I was influenced by my father’s own love of photography. His photographs of our numerous family travels around the world have provided me with fond memories that, otherwise, might have been forgotten. My father undoubtedly influenced my drive to photograph the world around me.

To me, photography is a passion. A way of looking at the world through shape, color and boundless imagination. As a photographer, with a background in graphic arts, I don’t want to just create photographs; I want to give them depth and character. It is for that reason I came up with cutting up my images and then reassembling them the way I have. For me creatively, it is a fun and a challenging way to make things that are just a bit out of the ordinary.

My work also consists of traditional photographic images. I work in black & white, black & white infrared, and also color. I have never tried to just specialize in one type of photography because all of it has a time and place in my work.

Thank you for considering my work.
